This just in! The Minister for Arts, Heritage & the Gaeltacht, Ms Heather Humphreys, has just announced that €2 million will be made available in 2016 for the repair and conservation of historic buildings, under the re-booted Built Heritage Investment Scheme. This scheme was highly successful in both generating employment as well as engendering substantial improvements in the care of Protected Structures. It is said that the scheme will operate as it did in 2014. Grants require at least 50% matching funding by the applicant, with award levels ranging between €2,500 and €10,000. Most local authorities’ applications are due on 7th December. Get in touch with Sunni today to discuss your grant application.
